PINT SIZE KIDS…

Calling all Los Angeles Moms! Have you heard of Pint Size Kids in Sherman Oaks? If you haven’t, you must take your toddler there for a visit, ASAP! If you have, don’t you love it?Coconut and I certainly do. We frequent Pint Size Kids at least once a week. This place is amazing for little ones to explore, to play with new types of toys, and to learn to interact with other children. We will go just the two of us or we will coordinate playdates there as there is something for everyone (Coconut and I just came from there which is why I am sharing this with you).

There is a grocery store with cash registers on a checkout stand, groceries, an ATM (Coconut is drawn to this every time), shopping carts, and grocery bags. There is a dental office with a dental chair, doctor equipment, and crutches. There is a house with kitchen equipment, strollers, babies, plates and silverware, a table, and chairs. There is a construction room with cars, all kinds of trucks, building blocks, and construction tools. There is a gated area dedicated to infants and young toddlers with soft toys. There is a front room where classes like music and messy art take place. The entry has a train table and shelves upon shelves of books.

How many playspaces have you found with a small outdoor area with a grass field that offer organized soccer classes for toddlers? Soccer is one of the best introductory sport to play with your pint size kids. GB Soccer School provides the soccer classes here. The coaches are great with young children and have this great ability to get them to follow instruction, participate and have fun! This is where Grant and Brooks first started soccer three and a half years ago and to this day still participate in a one-hour class once a week run by the GB Soccer School owner with their pre-school buddies.

I would say by the age of 6, they start to grow out of it, though my boys could make the most of it if they had to for an hour or so to appease their little sister. And I emphasize if they had to!
